We do not say we are the finest but we encourage you to listen to any system anywhere at our price point and simply let your ears be the judge.

As lifestyle system we suggest an entry level combination around Aktimate Maxi of Epoz which is an Australian company that enjoys input from the respected British audio manufacturer, Michael Creek in particular Epos of which we have also handpicked the Encore 50 for our State of the Art System.

We pride ourselves in utilising the purest possible audio signal path via Silver Arrow cables, handcrafted in Worthing, UK by Graham Rivers. These cables are dedicated for high-end systems being “one of the lowest loss cable on the planet.”  Silver Arrow cables are also aesthetically pleasing and available in at least three colours or more which can be nicely displayed in between speakers and system inside any home décor.

We have the privilege of utilising Mono Pulse loudspeakers handcrafted in Hants, UK by Allan Hendry.  Allan was formerly an aerospace engineer from King’s College, University of London. Allan managed to create affordable electrostatic sound which was formerly a rather exclusive characteristic to the triply more expensive Martin Logans, for example. Mono Pulse loudspeakers unique to other conventional loudspeakers owing to its 3D soundstage capabilities are also available in a variety of colours. There is simply nothing better out there for a combination at our Reference price point.

At the heart of our systems we boast for the beautiful Exposure Electronics which remain a ‘Made in England’ product precisely built in Lancing near Brighton. We find this is the only solid state product to manage the important virtues of the smooth and lingering sound of valves without the inconvenience of the latter old technology but including proper resolution and dynamics of modern technology.

For purists we cannot emphasise enough about the superior quality of vinyl particularly when played on a Roksan Turntable such as Xerxes; an innovation of a then post graduate engineer, Touraj Moghaddam. Touraj during his research days at Imperial College, University of London was also a music lover fine tuning his HiFi at home in order to achieve the best possible music from his system. Not satisfied with what was available in the market he eventually ended up designing a revolutionary record player which became the world renowned Xerxes.  At the time his first prototype had the main plinths built from a piece of unused Fire Door wood at the basement of Imperial College Electrical department! ‘It just happened to have the required density’ said Touraj. Later at a table-talk in Hard Rock café bouncing ideas with his college friend and now business partner, Tufan Hashemi, the Roksan idea materialised and the company was subsequently formed in June 1985. From their Persian heritage the name Roksan was chosen as tribute to Roksana, the daughter of a King in ancient Persia.

“Our entry level is another man’s flagship” says Whest Audio which is a specialist English company making phono stages. The designer, James Henriott states that, “we build phono stages and do not build anything else.” From the non-obstrusive WhestTwo up to the ultimate Mono Blocks phono stages these are noted as essential instrument-like music making tool for any turntable to perform at its best. We also find the Danish Ortofon cartridges are an excellent match for these.

We finally support our high end systems on Audiophile Base Furniture, handcrafted in Kent, UK by John McCurly-Smith. John has utilised certain techniques normally seen in reputable theatre roofs to achieve maximum resonance and vibration control. Audiophile Base is now a fully acclaimed world class product which has raised the mark for the global competition to aspire. Audiophile Base is invaluable to a good system to achieve the best possible performance.

Overall, we ensure our complete systems are pleasant to listen as well as accurate in rendition of music that is in the way intended by artists. We seek out the most outstanding combination in our various system packages which have been put together after careful testing by industry professionals to work in absolute synergy so that you feel the listening experience engaging and insightful. We are confident you will want to listen to your existing collection of music with the freshness of a new lease and you will also be excited to hear your later collection that is yet to come and furthermore experiment with unusual and altogether varied collection of music but the desire to listen music in our systems will simply be more.

On the other hand, it is sad to miss out musical enjoyment by living with a rather dry sounding HiFi which may have been put together according to a budget as often is the case after diplomatic suggestions from most high streets retail outlets or other be-spoke audio visual designers who may be either driven by sales pitch or the need to make an argument for designing a home cinema in your home. Yes, let’s bury those cables in the walls we hear you say and the poor salesman over there simply agrees in order to ensure the transaction is complete. At TrueStereo we however beg to differ because in this way sound quality will be compromised due to mains cable being already rooted in the walls which inevitably induces hum or noise to any other signal particularly audio path which is delicate and sensitive. In our view, listening by way of convenience is commercially common and mechanical sounding. We cannot do that!

We humbly say a good dedicated two channel stereo system remains the very finest form of musical enjoyment and cannot be possibly compared to any experience in a home cinema environment irrespective of advancement in technology and costs. We simply do not believe in processing audio signals and amplifying effects in order to create loud impacts and other excitements which may not be really existent in the original recording.

William Shakespeare said: “If music is the food of love, play on.” We simply try to preserve the neutrality in sound and so allow the artists to almost re-perform in the comfort of your home through playbacks in our high-end systems as in live or studio recordings at the time and with all the emotions of life and love again.

At the end of the day, we hope to achieve the highest possible standard with the simple joys of music which should be equivalent to almost a kind of eroticism to your ears in musical enjoyment, of course!

Music is our world and our aim is to be at the top of that world.
